The second edition of the Bangalore IT.com exhibition will be held in Bangalore between 1 and 5 November 1999. It will showcase and project the Indian infotech industry in general and Bangalore in particular, as a preferred investment destination.

This exhibition is expected to be a platform of interaction for entrepreneurs and software companies. It is expected to be the largest IT event in India. The Karnataka state government has the department of commerce of the US as a global partner for this event, and is also hoping to rope in the European Commission as a partner. Companies from the US will take up about 6,000 square metres of space at the exhibition.

The event focuses on emerging technologies like Linux and e-commerce besides an international conference on the emerging trends in telecom and IT for socio-economic development. Another highlight will be the investors' meet, which will focus on funds, investment guidance and opportunities.
