10 Feb 11.10 AM: Indices firm despite Asian weakness; Sensex cross 10100 in early trades

Mixed closing by US indices yesterday following concerns of continued rate hiked by the US Fed and weakness across Asian markets are not affecting Indian indices today.
The Sensex opened with gains at 10066 and went past the 10100 mark in early trades to record a new intra-day lifetime high of 10116. The index is trading higher by 37 points at 10082 at 11.10 AM.
The Nifty opened at 3009 and saw an all-time intra-day high of 3026. The index is trading at 3020, higher by 11 points.
Cipla is continuing the rally from Wednesday with gains of another 4 per cent. Ranbaxy is also trading higher by close to 1.5 per cent.
Zee Tele has made a come back and is now trading with gains of more than 4 per cent.
