MSEB raises loans
Mumbai: The Maharashtra State Electricity
Board is raising loans worth Rs 200 crore to upgrade its transmission lines in five
districts. The loan will be in addition to the Rs 200-crore bonds being planned for
private placement.
The funds, being raised as
7-year maturity loans with a 12 per cent interest payable on a quarterly basis, will be
used towards upgradation of MSEB's 440 KVA power transmission lines to 500 KVA lines in
Buldhana, Solapur, Nashik, Sangli and Parbhani districts.

Sahara airline to offer new
facilities
New Delhi: The Sahara India airline has
decided to offer a new set of facilities and incentives to travellers. The company will
introduce free use of executive lounges, including board rooms, home delivery of tickets
within four to five hours and a website to help travellers plan their holiday and make
necessary bookings through the internet.
The airline is setting up a dozen executive lounges in the
hearts of metros under the aegis of Sahara Enterprises.

the restructuring plan of the bank to set up five local head offices.

Penalties against Credit
Suisse
Tokyo: Credit Suisse group may have to pay
penalties, including revocation of its Japanese banking licence for a derivatives unit.
Tokyo's watchdog, the Financial Supervisory Agency, said it notified the outcome of its
five-month official probe into the Swiss-based banking group.
The agency said it is about to revoke the banking licence
of Credit Suisse Financial Product, a group unit that mainly handles derivative products,
after it determined that the unit had obstructed investigations and conducted
inappropriate transactions.
