C.R. Prasad to look after MRL too
Chennai: C.R. Prasad, chairman and managing
director of the Gas Authority of India Ltd, has assumed additional charge as chairman and
managing director, Madras Refineries Ltd. Mr Prasad
will hold the additional charge till a permanent government nominee is appointed. M.P.
Srinivasan, director (technical), of MRL has been officiating as chairman of the company.

Shree Cement board
Calcutta: Sidharth Birla, Hira Lal Somany
and O.P. Setia have joined the Shree Cement board. With this the board of the company
headed by B.G. Bangur will have 10 directors.
This is for the first time that a member of the Birla
family has joined the board of the Bangur-managed company.
