Viacom chief
faces divorce suit
New York: Phyllis Redstone, wife of Sumner
Redstone, chairman and chief executive officer of Viacom,
whose company is in a $37-billion deal to acquire CBS, has
filed a divorce suit in a Boston court and is seeking $3
billion. A Viacom spokesman confirmed the divorce suit and
said it is a personal matter and has no effect on Viacom's
proposed merger with CBS.
