Lalit Kumar to join Wockhardt
Mumbai: Lalit Kumar, formerly president of Lupin International, is the new president of Wockhardt's international division. Mr Kumar will look after Wockhardt's international marketing, and the exports markets of Europe, the US and the Middle East.

Mr Kumar started his career with Hindustan Lever, and has served as head of Indian operations of Dun & Bradstreet. He left Lupin in the wake of the restructuring exercise undertaken by the company.

Gary Davey quits Star TV
Hong Kong: Star TV chief executive Gary Davey is quitting. He plans to leave for Australia and will continue his association with Star as a consultant. Current executive chairman Gareth Chang will be given additional responsibility of the tasks handled by Mr Davey.

Bruce Churchill, deputy chief executive of the company, will be made chief operating officer.

Mr Davey was with Star TV for six years.
