Sebi concerned over unregistered NBFCs
Mumbai: The Securities and Exchange Board of India has written to the Reserve Bank of India seeking the names of non-banking finance companies that have been denied registration by the central bank. Sebi is worried over the volatility in the prices of such NBFCs' shares, and it is ascertaining the reason from the stock exchanges. The market regulator is of the view that unregistered finance companies should be denied listing on the exchanges.
