Mr. Ajit Ranade joins ABN-AMRO
Mumbai: ABN-AMRO Bank, has announced a key addition in its senior management team, with the hiring of Dr Ajit Ranade as chief economist. Mr. Ranade will report directly to Mr. Romesh Sobti, CEO, ABN-AMRO India. He will be based in Mumbai and provide research insights into Indian economic and political developments for the benefit of local as well as international clients of ABN-AMRO.

Mr. Ranade will assist various departments, like corporate banking and treasury by providing them with research and analysis on the domestic and international macro economy. He would also handle bank's interface with the Reserve Bank of India and the Government of India.
