Mr.K.Vaidyanath joins the ITC board
Kolkata: Mr. K. Vaidyanath, chief financial officer of ITC Ltd., has been inducted as a wholetime director on the board of the company. He will be taking over charge from Mr Biswadev Mitter, director, finance, who is scheduled to retire next April.

Mr Vaidyanath, prior to assuming charge as the CFO, was head of corporate planning and treasury, besides looking after internal audit.

The other wholetime directors on the company's board, besides, Mr Y.C. Deveshwar, chairman of the board, include Mr. S.S.H. Rehman, Mr Anup Singh and Mr Mitter. The other two relatively new faces on the ITC board are non-executive directors Mr B.G. Daga, representing UTI, and Mr.Y.P. Gupta of LIC. Mr C.R. Green and Mr A.A.F. Rodrigues who continue to represent BAT, the single largest stakeholder on the board.
