Atmaramani to step down from Tata
Asset Management
Mumbai: KN Atmaramani,
managing director of the Tata Asset Management Company which manages the Tata Mutual Fund
has decided to step down from his post with effect from September this year.
The decision coincides with the
$100-billion Toronto Dominion Asset Management, an arm of the Canadian banking major
Toronto Dominion Bank, being inducted as a joint venture partner.
According to a Tata Group source, the Group and TD Asset Management will jointly initiate
a search for a new CEO for the venture. The two giants are 50:50 partners in the venture
which manages Rs. 955 crore worth of funds.
