Cellular subscriber rises 4.5 percent in May
New Delhi—The cellular subscriber base in India has jumped 4.5 percent to touch 38.71 lakh users in May from 37.02 lakh users in April.

According to figures released by the Cellular Operators Association, COAI, Delhi has the highest number of subscribers with 5.98 lakh subscribers followed by Mumbai with 5.63 lakh subscribers.
