Pavan Bhatia joins Bijjli group
New Delhi—Pavan Bhatia, the man who ran Domino’s Pizza in India very successfully for over a year and left under a cloud is now scheduled to join the Bijjli group as chief executive officer from August 2001. The Bijjli group is the promoter of the Priya Village Road-show Multiplexes, PVR. Bhatia’s role will be to steer the group through a Rs 1000 crore expansion as well as oversee the operations of the transport business.

PVR is a joint venture between Priya exhibitors and Village Roadshow. The company gave India its first entertainment multiplex now intends to position itself as a diversified entertainment company.
