Will Kiran Karnik be the next Nasscom president?
New Delhi--Kiran Karnik, is one of the strong contenders for the post of president Nasscom, which fell vacant after the sudden death of Dewang Mehta. Sources said that Nasscom had not informed Karnik officially, however, they said that Infosys chairman NR Narayana Murthy informally discussed the issue with Karnik.

Karnik worked with ISRO earlier and set up Discovery India later and is said to combine a rare combination of a scientist and a top quality manager. He left Discovery India earlier this year.
