CEO ITspace.com resigns
Bangalore-- Prabhat Pani, chief executive officer, ITspace.com, part of the Microland group has decided to resign from the company.
He is expected to join one of the telecom majors in the country shortly. The portal is also shedding around 25 employees over a period of time.

Microland Group chairman Pradeep Kar said this was in keeping with the shift in focus of the technology portal to a technology marketing services company.

HP-ISOs new HR head is Parmeshwar Ravi
New Delhi--
Parmeshwar Ravi has been appointed general manager human resources, Hewlett Packard India Software Operation Ltd. (HP-ISO), the software arm of Hewlett Packard.
This is one of the first appointments announced by the company in India after the announcement of Hewlett-Packard and Compaq merger yesterday.
Yesterday H-P had announced that Vyomesh Joshi, currently the global president of companys imaging and printing systems, would be head of imaging and franchise division of the merged entity.
Prior to his appointment at HP-ISO, Parmeshwar Ravi was the group human resource manager of Wipro Technologies.

Top management reshuffle at Hutchison
MumbaiThe Hong Kong-based Hutchison Whampoa Group has reshuffled its top management.
Now Sandip Das, the chief executive officer for the Mumbai and Gujarat circles will now also be CEO for the Andhra Pradesh circle. Calcutta CEO Rajeev Sawhney will move to Bangalore as CEO for both Karnataka and Chennai and a new CEO for Calcutta will be appointed.
Asim Ghosh would continue to head the Indian operations for Hutchison. A new chief operating officer will be appointed for Andhra Pradesh, while Gujarat COO Sunil Sood will continue in his present job. The Mumbai team will continue to report directly to Mr Das.
Sunil Ranka, who heads finance for the Mumbai circle will now also take care of this function for Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh as well.
Hutchison has more than 900,000 cellular subscribers in India and its subscriber base in Delhi only is about 275,000, but is way behind rival Bhartis 390,000 subscribers.
The Indian cellular industry now has three strong private players-the recently formed Batata-BPL combine, Hutchison and Bharti.
