Ishaat Hussain new Tata Finance head
Mumbai: The Tatas have reconstituted the board of Tata Finance Ltd, appointing Ishaat Hussain, finance director, Tata Sons Ltd, as the new chairman of the company.

The group has also decided to recapitalise the company to the tune of Rs 250-300 crore.

The group has inducted Mr N.A. Soonawala, vice-chairman, Tata Sons Ltd, Mr K.A. Chaukar, managing director, Tata Industries Ltd, Mr Francis J. da Cunha, executive director and Mr U. Mukesh Rao, former official of GIC, as new directors. Another director, Mr B.A. Suvarna, retired earlier this month. The new managing director will be appointed shortly.
