Govindarajan is new SBI
MD
Mumbai:
S Govindarajan has been appointed the managing director (MD) of the
State Bank of India (SBI). He fills in the void created after Vepa
Kamesam who had taken over as a deputy governor of the Reserve Bank of
India.

IOC Chairman awarded
Mumbai
: Indian Oil Corporation Chairman M.A. Pathan was given the Best
Industrial Manager of the Year award by the
Institution of Industrial Managers for his contribution to economic
growth. He received the award from Mr V.P. Singh, Chairman, Industrial
Finance Corporation of India, on 4 November.
