BPL appoints Jayanth Kumar CEO
Bangalore: BPL Ltd has appointed K.S. Jayanth Kumar as its chief executive officer. Kumar was earlier managing director of BPL Communications. The move from BPL Communications comes on account of the restructuring in the company following the merger of BPL's mobile telephony business with that of Birla-AT&T-Tata.

Bharat Puri is Cadbury India MD
New Delhi: Chocolate maker Cadbury India Ltd on Tuesday announced the appointment of Bharat Puri as its managing director.
The appointment would be effective from January 1, 2002, a company statement said. He would replace Mathew Cabdury, who returns to the UK.
