SEBI okays proposal for
futures trading
Mumbai:
Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on Wednesday cleared the
Bombay and National Stock Exchange proposal to commence trading in
individual stock futures contracts for 31 scrips, including ACC, HLL
and Bajaj Auto.
SEBI board at its meeting held on November 1 had given a nod for
trading in individual stock futures for scrips on which option
contracts were being traded in the derivatives market, the capital
market regulator said in a release here on Wednesday.
BSE and NSE exchanges had applied for the approval after the board's
decision, it added.
