Harshad diverted shares to relatives
New Delhi: In a major breakthrough in the Harshad Mehta case, the CBI has tracked down people in possession of the missing 27,48,500 shares worth over Rs 100 crore.
According to a CBI official, the agency has collected some vital evidence that out of the over 27 lakh shares which were reported missing by Harshad Mehta and his brothers Ashwin and Sudhir, a majority were transferred by them in the name of several sub-brokers who were working for them or in the names of his relatives and friends.
CBI is making a list of all the sub-brokers, relatives and friends who were involved in this racket.
