Mascarenhas back as Air India MD
New Delhi: The government has reinstated the suspended managing director of Air India, Michael Mascarenhas, to his former post.

The order reinstating Mascarenhas as the managing director was faxed late on Wednesday evening, paving the way for him to take over again.

Mascarenhas is due to demit office on November 30.

Mascarenhas and some senior AI officials were suspended this May for showing undue favour to the airlines General Sales Agent in London.
