Arun Nanda to be
co-chairman of DYR-Wunderman
Kolkata:
Arun Nanda, chairman of Rediffusion DY&R India, has been appointed
co-chairman of the $2 billion DY&R-Wunderman Alliance, along with
Yasuo Yoshitome, co-chairman of DY&R Asia.
The Alliance will monitor the
operations and integration of DY&R Asia Pacific and Wunderman
Asia.
Nanda would continue to be
based in Mumbai.
DY&R has 33 offices in 13
countries, while Wunderman has 14 offices in nine Asian nations.

Nirmalendu
Kar quits Bharti
Kolkata:
Bharti Mobitel Ltds Nirmalendu Kar has resigned as the head of the
sales division. This is the first major resignation from the company,
which was earlier known as Spice Cell Ltd, after it was taken over by
the New Delhi-headquartered Bharti group.
Kar will be relieved of his
charge at a mutually agreed date in the near future.
