Kuoni Travel (India)
Pvt Ltd chairman and CEO Ranjit Malkani has taken over as the CEO
Asia. He will be managing the Kuoni Groups businesses in Asia,
effective from January 1, 2002. Malkani has also been appointed as a
member of the management board of the Kuoni Group. He is the first
Indian member of the group management board of Kuoni Travel Holdings
Ltd, one of the worlds largest travel companies.

GE
appoints new MD for Welch centre
Bangalore: The
General Electric Company has appointed Guillermo Wille as the new
managing director of the John F. Welch Technology Centre. Wille was
earlier responsible for the India Design Centre set up jointly by
Satyam and GE in Hyderabad.
The earlier managing director
Jean Heuschen will be relocated to the US. He has been named
vice-president (materials technology business development).
