Gupta quits HTA

Thompson Associates executive vice-president Sunil Gupta has resigned
to start his own venture. He will be with HTA till April next year.
Gupta will be handing over charge to his successor in January 2002,
though he would stay on till April.
Gupta will start his own company in New Delhi along with his wife who
is a communications expert. Some HTA heavyweights could be joining
him.
Ambar Brahmachari, currently heading J Walter Thompson, Tokyo, is
tipped to replace Gupta.
