Dairy to foray into snack biz
New
Delhi: Mother Dairy plans to enter the namkeen market.
Initially, the company plans to launch at least 8 to 10 different
types of namkeens in January.
The namkeen market in
India is estimated at Rs 700 crore with major players like
Haldiram, Bikarner Bhujiawala and MNC major Pepsi Foods. The
Mother Dairy namkeens will be priced much less than the rivals in
the market.
