Star's distribution
head quits
New Delhi:
Arun Mohan, Star Indias distribution head has resigned. Last month,
another senior executive from Star, Vikram Sakhuja, who headed its
marketing activities, put in his papers after a brief stint. Both
Mohan and Sakhuja were part of Star India's managing committee.
Mohan is expected to continue work with Star India as a consultant for
some more time. Jagdish Kumar, executive vice president, Star India,
who is currently handling the DTH project, is expected to head the
distribution operations.

quits
Kolkata:
Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd managing director Richard B. Saldanha has
put in his papers. Saldanha sent his resignation letter to the HPL
promoters on 5 September with three months' notice.
