Sterlite hires top managers
Chennai:
Sterlite Industries (India) has hired Kuldip Kaura as president of its copper business. Kaura was the country manager and managing director of ABB India.
Top-level inductions have also taken place in Balco, in which Sterlite has acquired majority stake. V S Bapna who had earlier held senior positions in Reliance and Ispat Group and P K Madhav, who was finance director of Nagarjuna Group have joined Balco as presidents.

J R Venkatraman, senior vice-president and M Siddique, vice-president from the group's copper business have moved to Balco to take charge of operations and projects respectively.
Earlier, L Ramkumar, who joined the group from the Chennai- based TI Group, has taken over as CEO of Sterlite's telecom business. Ashok Panjwani has moved to India Foils Limited, owned by the Sterlite Group, as CEO.
