Kumar Mangalam quits from Birla Global Finance
New Delhi: Kumar Mangalam Birla has resigned as chairman of Birla Global Finance Ltd.
Birla Global Finance, despite posting an impressive Rs 8.82 crore profit last fiscal, was in financial strain which led to downgrade of its fixed deposit and debenture issues by credit rating agencies a few months ago.

Rajiv Sahney quits Antfactory India
Mumbai: Rajiv Sahney, chief operating officer of European fund Antfactorys India operations, has quit after Antfactorys decision to sell out to UK-based investment bank Seymour Pierce.

Sahney is not likely to join another fund and will most probably pursue another venture.

Kamal Oberoi to head HTA
Mumbai: Kamal Oberoi will head the Hindustan Thompson Associates (HTA) following the retirement of Mike Khanna.

HTA has appointed Oberoi as the first president of HTA. It is for the first time in the history of HTA that the agency has created a new post of president.

With over 16 years experience in HTA, Oberoi has worked in the agencys branches in Delhi, Calcutta and Chennai in the last few years.

HTA handles the advertising accounts of major companies which include Hero Honda, Mattel Toys, Pilips India, Madura Garments, Nestle and Timex Watches among others.
