CEOs for PSU oil majors
New Delhi: The
public enterprises selection board has finalised the list of
candidates who will head Indias largest oil companies which boast
of a combined turnover of Rs 207,359 crore.
IndianOil Corporations planning and business development director
MS Ramachandran heads the list for the top job. IndianOil finance
director P Sugavanam has been listed as the second choice for the top
slot.
A mechanical engineer, Ramachandran has been with IndianOil for 30
years, including 25 in the marketing division.
For Bharat Petroleum, its marketing director S Bihuria has been chosen
for the top slot while the second option names finance director Ashok
Sinha. For Hindustan Petroleum, BPCLs refineries director MB Lal
has been listed as the first choice, followed by IBP chairman SN
Mathur.
The first vacancy would occur on 31 March when MA Pathan demits office
at IOC. He will be followed by HL Zutshi of HPCL in May and U
Sundararajan of BPCL.
