Joseph Kennedy joins i-flex Board
Mumbai: i-flex Solutions Ltd has appointed Joseph P. Kennedy II on its board of directors.

Kennedy, a former US Congressman and House banking committee member and sub-committee chairman, currently serves as the chairman and president of Citizens Energy Corporation in Boston.

Microsoft names chief security strategist
San Francisco: Microsoft has appointed Scott Charney of the PricewaterhouseCooper, as chief security strategist to replace the outgoing security executive.

Charney was chief of the computer crime and intellectual property unit at the US department of justice from 1991 to 1999.

Charney replaces Howard Schmidt.
Schmidt is leaving to work for Richard Clarke, chairman of President George W. Bush's Critical Infrastructure Protection Board.

Charney's responsibility will be to develop ways to improve the security of Microsoft products and services.

Punit Goenka to head ASC Enterprises
New Delhi: Punit Goenka, media baron Subhash Chandra's son, will take over as group president and chief executive of ASC Enterprises Ltd.

Goenka, the company's senior vice-president, business development, succeeds Jai P Singh, whose term expired on 1 February. Singh will continue playing advisory roles in ASC.
The ASC Enterprises promoted Agrani Satellite Services Ltd has tied up Rs 525 crore debt for Agrani Satellite Services Ltd and is expected to achieve financial closure soon.
