Ritu
Beri takes over at Scherrer
Paris: Mounir
Moufarrige has appointed Indian designer Ritu Beri as head of
ready-to-wear at the house of Jean-Louis Scherrer.
The decision follows Moufarrige's announcement last month that he was
creating a new conglomerate, France Luxury Group, to rekindle the
fortunes of faded labels, including Scherrer, Jacques Fath and
Emmanuelle Khanh.
Beri would work to revive the spirit of the house's founding designer.
Beri would show her first collection for Scherrer at the Paris
ready-to-wear collections next month.
