Yash Johar quits Pritish Nandy Communications
Mumbai: Pritish Nandy Communications Ltd has accepted the resignation of Yash Johar from the directorship of the company and appointed Satyajit Mitra in his place.

Mitra has also been appointed as a member of the audit committee in place of Johar.

The company is also considering changing its name to PNC Entertainment Ltd subject to approval of the members.

Yashwant Sinha is new chairman of G-20
New Delhi: Finance minister Yashwant Sinha has been chosen the chairman of the Group of 20 (G-20) developed and developing countries.

The decision was taken at Ottawa by the outgoing chairman of G-20 and Canadian finance minister Paul Martin after consultation with all member countries and organisations.

Sinha will take over from March this year.

Sinha would chair the next ministerial meeting to be held in New Delhi later this year. The new secretariat of G-20 is to be set up in New Delhi.

G-20, which was formed in 1999, comprises all members of G-7 industrialised nations, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Australia, Indonesia, China, South Africa, India, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and South Korea. The 20th member is European Union.
