Subbu
appointed Hyundai director
New Delhi:
Hyundai Motor India has appointed its director (marketing) BVR Subbu
as the president of the company succeeding AP Gandhi.
Subbu joined HMIL in 1996 as
director (marketing) and has been instrumental in building the company
from inception to its present leadership position. He started his
career with the Tata Administrative Services (TAS) in 1977, after
completing his masters in economics from the Jawaharlal Nehru
University.
After a brief stint at TAS,
he moved to Tata Engineering where he played a key role in building
the companys market share in the multi-utility vehicle, light
commercial vehicle and heavy commercial vehicle segments.

P C Goswami
is new director of OIL
Guwahati:
P C Goswami, resident chief executive of Oil India, has been appointed
as director (operation) of the company.
Goswami, a production engineer, has more than 28 years of experience
in diverse areas of oilfield operations as well as technical service.
Goswami was in charge of the company's North East region oilfield
operations, including production of crude oil, natural gas and LPG,
their sales and transportation of OIL and ONGC crude to the four
eastern sector refineries.
