Jackson appointed EMC V-P
Bangalore: EMC Corporation has appointed Gary Jackson as the vice-president, Asia Pacific.

Jackson was earlier with Cisco as vice-president, pperations.

He will be based in Singapore and will oversee EMC's operations in 10 countries including Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.

New Rly Board member
New delhi: Arvind Sharma has taken over as member (electrical), Railway Board, on superannuation of N.K. Chidambaram.

Sharma is a 1965 batch officer of Indian Railway Services of electrical engineers and was the general manager of Chitaranjan Locomotive Works.
