Hariharan
quits BSES
Mumbai:
BSES Telecoms chief executive officer Guru Hariharan has put in his
papers. Hariharan joined the BSES Telecom on 1 December 2000
after the then incumbent, DK Nimal resigned.
A four-member committee
comprising BSES Telecoms vice president Sanjay Pathak, its general
manager (technology) PD Chaukar, company secretary Himanshu Agarwal
and senior manager (human resource) Rajiv Bhadauria has been appointed
to take care of day-to-day operations until a new CEO is appointed.

Excellence award for Baru
New Delhi: The Editor of The
Financial Express, Dr Sanjaya Baru, has been awarded the 2002 IMM
Award for Excellence for the Top Business Editor, 2002, by the
Institute of Marketing & Management, New Delhi. The award was
presented by Union minister for power Suresh Prabhu at the 29th World
Marketing Congress organised by IMM in New Delhi.
