Gautam Thapar on Asahi India board
New Delhi: Chairman and managing director of Ballarpur Industries Gautam Thapar has been appointed as a director on the board of Asahi India Safety Glass with effect from 22 March.

He will head the remuneration committee which has been set up in accordance with the corporate guidelines that Asahi India is in the process of implementing, a company statement said.

Asahi India is a joint venture between Asahi Glass of Japan, Labroo family and Maruti Udyog.
