MusicWorld CEO to join Sify
Chennai: K. Dasaratharaman has quit as the chief executive officer of Music World Entertainment Ltd to join Satyam Infoway Ltd (Sify) early next month.

Dasaratharaman joined MusicWorld two years ago.

Dasaratharaman graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology - Madras and did his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Before joining Music World, Dasaratharman was the general manager (brands) for ITC Ltd.

VSNL director quits
Mumbai: N R Narayana Murthy has resigned as a director of the Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd. He ceases to be a director with effect from 26 March.

Rana to be new railway board chief

New Delhi: I.I.M.S. Rana will be the new chairman of the railway board and ex-officio principal secretary to the government of India.. Currently member (engineering), Rana replaces R.N. Malhotra who retires on 31 March.
