Cabot
to be delisted
Mumbai:
The scrip of Cabot India will be struck off the list of securities of
BSE, following the compliance by CIL's parents with Sebi's takeover
code's provisions for delisting.
Cabot Holdings and Cabot have agreed to provide an exit option to the
existing shareholders at Rs 100 per share at any time during one year
from the date of delisting, BSE said in a notice to the broking
members.

Icicidirect
to issue digitally signed contract note
Mumbai:
Icicidirect.com has eliminated paper completely from its Web trading
platform and has become the first firm to issue a digitally signed
contract note to its clients.
Icicidirect issues contract notes for 22,000 transactions carried out
per day. These are physically mailed to investors. With the
introduction of the new system, the investor will instantly receive a
legally valid contract note electronically.
The new service is expected to save around Rs 6 crore to the broker.
