New Icrier chief
New Delhi: Rakesh Mohan, economic advisor to the finance minister, has been appointed as the director and chief executive of the Indian Council For Research on International Economic Relations (Icrier).

He will assume office on 16 May, succeeding Isher Judge Ahluwalia whose four-year term expires in May, according to a statement issued here by Icrier.

Dugal, Khirwadkar join Polaris
Chennai: Harpal Dugal, former chief executive officer of Standard Chartered Bank and Suren Khirwadkar, former country marketing director of Citibank, have joined Polaris Software Labs Ltd.

Harpal Dugal will take charge as the director - strategic initiatives and Suren Khirwadkar will be joining as the director - marketing and sales.

Dua appointed BSES acting CMD
Mumbai: The BSES board has appointed SS Dua, director (technical) as acting chairman and managing director.

Dua is the seniormost director in the board, and he would function as acting CMD till a permanent solution is made.
