BHPV gets new chief
New Delhi:
Shailendra N. Roy has been appointed as the new managing director of Bharat Heavy Plates and Vessels Ltd (BHPV).

BHPV is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Bharat Yantra Nigam Ltd, a government enterprise under the administrative control of the ministry of heavy industries and public enterprises.

Roy has vast experience in production, project execution and marketing, both in India and abroad, including stints with BHEL and Larsen & Toubro.

Nagarjuna Oil top brass quit
Chennai:
Nagarjuna group managing director and CEO V. Shyam Sundar and a number of senior officials have put in their papers.

The delay in completing the project is stated to be the reason for Sundar and the others resigning.

Prior to joining Nagarjuna Oil, Sundar was chairman and managing director of Chennai Petroleum Corporation Ltd (CPCL), and earlier, the executive director of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, Chennai.
