Rakesh Kumar joins Global Vantedge
New Delhi:
Global Vantedge, the JV between ChrysCapital and Outsourcing Solutions, has roped in Rakesh Kumar as business leader.

In his new assignment, Kumar will run the Global Vantedge operations in India as president and country head.

He joined GECIS in November 1998 and set up the receivables division, which accounted for 90% of the business, in 1999.

Global Vantedge is focused on receivables management across all levels of credit collections.

A chemical engineer from IIT-D and MBA from FMS, Kumar has worked in a wide range of industries including advertising, paints and retail banking. Before GECIS, he was with ABN-Amro Bank at the middle east operations.

C.V. Venkataramana has taken charge as the chairman-cum-managing director of National Aluminum Company Ltd. Venkataramana would continue to hold the post of director (finance).

SBI board promotes three CGMs
Mumbai:
The board of State Bank of India has promoted three chief general managers as deputy managing directors while four general managers have been promoted as CGM.

The three new DMDs include Rajendra Kakkar, A K Kini and B D Sumitra.

The four new CGMs include K C Raute, D Sun-derashyam, S Krishanmurthy, and D Dasgupta.
