Bhowmick as acting CEO of Haldia Petro
Kolkata: The board of Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd has appointed Swapan Bhowmick, president-polymer, as the acting chief executive of the company to fill the void created by the resignation of the present MD Richard Saldanha.

A four-member corporate executives committee led by Bhowmick will now run HPL, reporting to the board. The other members of the committee are Ashutosh Basu, Swapan Chakraborty, Somen Dasand and Sabyasachi Chakraborty.

Bhoothalingam joins Kuoni board
Mumbai: Ravi Bhoothalingam has joined the executive board of Kuoni India. In this capacity, Bhoothalingam will contribute towards the strategic direction of Kuoni India and to future business development. He will also advise the board on matters pertaining to government's tourism and related policies and represent the company at forums in Delhi.
