New GE Medical CEO
New Delhi: General Electric Co has appointed Shanker Annaswamy as president and chief executive officer of GE Medical Systems (South Asia) and managing director of Wipro-GE.

Shanker will be responsible for distribution activities of GE Medical in the South Asian region.

Paes is MD of Alliance Air
New Delhi: Manet Paes has been appointed as managing director of Alliance Air, a fully-owned subsidiary of Indian Airlines. He replaces Anil Goyal who was the managing director of the airline since April 2000.

Paes, who is the director in charge of the northern region operations of Indian Airlines, would hold additional charge of Alliance Air.

Paes would also continue to look after the northern region operations of Indian Airlines.

Goyal, the outgoing Alliance Air managing director, would now focus on the commercial and cargo departments of Indian Airlines.
