BSE
suspends trading in 85 scrips
Mumbai:
The Bombay Stock Exchange has decided to suspend trading in securities
of 85 companies, including IDI, Jumbo Finance and Sterling Strips,
with effect from 13 May until further notice for non-compliance of
listing agreement.
"It has been observed
that these companies have failed to submit results for quarters ending
June, September and December 2001 as per requirements of Clause 41 of
listing agreement," BSE said in a release here.
These 85 entities, which were
issued showcause notices, have failed to reply leading to the
suspension, it said.
Some of the companies are
Alka Diamond Industries, Bhaskar Agrochemicals, Dyna Lamps & Glass
Works, Indo Zinc, Paschim Petrochem and Rajkumar Forge.
