New nominees to IMF, World Bank

Delhi: The government has nominated economic affairs secretary C M
Vasudev as Indias executive director in the World Bank and RBI
deputy governor Y V Reddy as executive director in the International
Monetary Fund (IMF).
Vasudev will take over from B
P Singh who is completing his three-year term as executive director in
the World Bank on 31 July.
Reddy has been named in the
place of Vijay Kelkar who too is completing his term in IMF on 31
July.
