Tarun Das in Cokes global body
New Delhi: Tarun Das, the director general of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), has been appointed on the 12-member international advisory board of the Coca-Cola Company. Das will attend the inaugural meeting of the board to be held at Lausanne, Switzerland, on 12-13 May.

Das is also the non-executive chairman of Associated Cement Companies Ltd., non-executive chairman, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, India, non-executive director on the boards of John Keells Holdings Ltd., Sri Lanka and GIVE Foundation, India.

Godbole to head NHB
New Delhi: The Industrial Development Bank of India's senior-most executive director J N Godbole is set to be appointed as the new chairman of National Housing Bank (NHB), the regulator for housing finance companies.

Godbole's appointment has been cleared by the central vigilance commission and an order for his appointment will be issued shortly.
