Damodaran gets two-year extension
The Finance Ministry has cleared a proposal to grant a two-year extension to the Unit Trust of India Chairman, Mr M. Damodaran.

The proposal has been cleared by the Finance Minister, Mr Yashwant Sinha, senior Finance Ministry officials said.

Kuppuswamy is Karur Vysya Bank CEO
P T Kuppuswamy has taken over as the Chairman and CEO of Karur Vysya Bank, effective from June 1 for a three-year term.

Former chairman and CEO A D Navaneethan laid down office on May 31.The bank informed the Bombay Stock Exchange about the change.
