Dhirubhai Ambani's body cremated
Mumbai: Reliance chairman Dhirubhai Ambani's body was cremated at the Chandanwadi crematorium in Mumbai on Sunday evening. He passed away on Saturday at Breach Candy Hospital, nearly a fortnight after suffering a cerebral stroke. His body was kept at the family residence since Sunday morning for people to pay their last respects. Dhirubhai's was the quintessential village boy-becomes-business tycoon story. In over three decades, Dhirubhai Ambani cocked a snook at convention, plodding ahead with sheer courage.

India Inc hopes Mukesh and Anil to stay together
Mumbai: This might sound a trifle indelicate at this point of time. It may even seem a bit premature. But given the size of the Ambani empire and its huge investor following, the question that is uppermost in the collective mind of India Inc is: After Dhirubhai, who? India Inc now hopes that Mukesh and Anil Ambani will stay together to make the company their father created a much bigger one in the days to come.
