FM may offer tax breaks to salaried class
New Delhi: Finance minister Jaswant Singh may have delivered his first largesse to the retired and
small savers in his first day in office. He made it clear that he was against the five per cent service tax on the risk
premium portion of life insurance policies and is not averse to offer tax breaks to the salaried class.
