Samir Biswas takes over as DCA, southern region
Mr Samir Biswas has taken over as the Regional Director, southern region of the Department of Company Affairs (DCA) at Chennai, according to a press release.

He replaces Mr V. Sreenivasa Rao, who has joined the DCA in New Delhi as Director, Inspection and Investigation.

Kishore Chaukar quits Tata Finance
MR Kishore Chaukar has resigned as Vice-Chairman and Director of Tata Finance Ltd.

A Tata group spokesperson said Mr Chaukar had stepped down as he would need to devote more time towards his other responsibilities in the group. Mr Chaukar was recently appointed on the board of VSNL. He is also on the board of several other Tata Group companies, the spokesperson said.
