Hind Zinc slumps on heavy selling
Mumbai: The share price of Hindustan Zinc Ltd (HZL), recently acquired by Sterlite Industries from the Government, was on a downward movement due to the huge selling by shareholders whose shares were not accepted in the open offer. HZL in the last two trading sessions has fallen by over 30 percent. On Wednesday, the stock was locked in the 20 per cent lower circuit both on the NSE and the BSE.Yesterday, the stock ended 10.19 per cent lower at Rs 21.60 on the BSE.
